Reg2Go Students

Congratulations on your approaching high school graduation! By participating in Reg2Go, you will get a head start by enrolling at Butte College prior to your high school graduation. As a Reg2Go student, you will receive priority registration which better ensures that you will get the classes you want at the times you want to take them.

Follow the Steps to Enroll below to ensure a successful transition to Butte College. If you have any questions about the steps to enroll or need support, contact welcomecenter@goudounet.com.

Steps To Enroll

Step 1. Apply to Butte College

Applying to Butte College is your first step to start your journey at Butte College. Our Recruitment & Outreach Technicians will visit your high school to tell you more about Butte College and support you step-by-step with the Butte College application.

If you weren’t able to participate in the Butte College Application Workshop at your high school, you can still apply on our own or contact welcomecenter@goudounet.com to schedule time with a Recruitment & Outreach Technician to get application support.

Step 2. Complete a Financial Aid Application

Completing a Financial Aid Application can open doors to fee waivers, grants, scholarships, and loans that can ease your financial worries and allow you to focus on your studies. First-time, full-time students who are California residents or AB540 may be eligible to receive the Butte College Promise Scholarship (BCPS) which covers tuition and fees for up to the first two years. You must have a financial aid application on file to qualify.

- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the Butte College Federal School Code: 006972

OR

- Complete the CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) for students with an undocumented status

Step 3. Complete the Career and Academic Profile (CAP) Tool

Share your past academic experiences and future goals by completing the Career and Academic Profile Tool (CAP). Log in using your Butte College email address and password. Complete the CAP Tool before attending Reg2Go Orientation.

Step 4. Attend Reg2Go Orientation

Orientation is a great way to start your Butte College journey and become familiar with the campus. During Orientation, you will take a campus tour, learn about campus resources, and register for classes with a Butte College Counselor.

As a Reg2Go student, you will participate in an Orientation with your high school in April or May. Be sure to check in with your High School Counselor for your Orientation date and sign up to attend before spots are full!

If you are unable to participate in Reg2Go Orientation but still plan to attend Butte College in the Fall, you must sign up to attend Summer Orientation before starting classes.

Step 5. Start Classes!

You will leave Orientation with your class schedule and ready for the Fall semester.
